The Dubois family is back, and so is Allison’s former lover. (He’s dead, but that doesn’t stop people on this show.) I’m curious to see how much the Dubois kids have changed over the past several months, also. ---

Are we seeing a love triangle between Jake and Emily and Heather? Is Eric really going to leave his pregnant wife for the hot barmaid? Only her MIL knows she’s pregnant. I can already see her begging her not to tell Eric about the baby. ---

I’m still watching _Jericho_, mainly because my husband likes it, and I like my husband. I came across a good description of the show, in _Time_ magazine: “Chicago may be burning, but somewhere on the Great Plains, _The O.C._ lives.” ---

Where is the ka-boom? There was supposed to be an earth shattering ka-boom! I was really hoping they’d blow the bridge. I can see Mayor Dad’s reasons for keeping it intact, though. Shit flows two ways, and you need a path of escape in both directions. I agree with Hawkins, they were lucky. Eric stayed crunch in milk by bringing in Joshua and his pack. I wonder if April told Eric he’s going to be a dad yet? I haven’t seen anyone mention it to him. I wonder if Eric being a father will change Mary’s feelings about him? Next week: We’re China, right? ---

I didn’t see _anybody_ tell Eric about the baby, so presumably he doesn’t know yet. So everyone is going around assuming he knows, of course. These people are _so_ annoying. I’m still trying to figure out how a town in Kansas can successfully isolate itself simply by blowing one bridge. Isn’t Kansas, like, nearly flat? With farm roads running everywhere? So that there should presumably be at least 30 or 40 ways to get into Jericho from almost any direction? And just what big river is that supposed to be, anyway, that could apparently turn the town into an island? And if Mayor Dad was that close to death for several weeks, how could he manage to not only get up but act completely normal again in only a few hours? Wouldn’t he need some recuperation time? Shouldn’t he be feeling worse than a very weak kitten? The holes in this show are so big you could drive a whole _fleet_ of Humvees through them. And yet I keep watching it. To point and laugh, mostly. And wait for the radioactive zombies. ---

Way too many flashback/hallucinations in this one for me. The townsfolk are so freaking stupid it’s almost funny. The one fat deputy asks Hawkins about sniping the guy on top the deuce and a half and he just says “uh uh”…and the guy buys it?!? I can’t wait to see who buys it next week, the list of deserving candidates is alarmingly high. ---

Where the heck did the Red Cross guy come from? The one that Emily was talking to in the bar. Has he been there all along? I don’t think so, but then how come no one’s worried about him the way they were worried about Hawkins? I wanted a lot more fighting last night. And there should have been an explosion. I was very sad at no explosion. And no zombies. Though Emily’s getting close. ---

The actors are being punked too. The writers are covering their mouths and giggling. If it turns out to be true, you heard it here first. ---

A patient on IV meds like Levaquin should take them at least twice a day for at least six weeks. IANAD, but I have been on IV meds and can speak from a patient’s POV. You don’t take them for a day, then quit. Those are nasty bugs in a person’s system, they don’t just roll over and play dead. ---

Actually before I do that, lemme say this. I like the show. It’s total cheese puff pastry, and I really don’t want to give it more credit than that, but it is enjoyable. If you take it too seriously then I can see you not enjoying it, but if you have the ability to turn off the ol’ noggin, then it’s as enjoyable as reality tv. These people are _so_ annoying.” The only people who know about the baby are his mother and his wife.(and presumably, one of the two of them will deliver said baby) So no one is going around assuming he knows. 1. “Isn’t Kansas, like, nearly flat?” Yes, but it’s also unbelievably big with only two major arteries to get around, so going around takes you through other road blocks. “\_\_\_ Gray” said in the show that the invasion force would have to go through 2 other towns (that they didn’t go check on / team up with!?) before they could get around to another entrance to Jericho. 2. uh yeah, I got nothing… I hope my clarification isn’t seen as a defense of the show.
