There is a lot of mandatory briefings and paperwork in the demobilization process. You know how the military is. They are trying to squeeze almost 3000 people through over a couple of weeks. I was hoping to be done before the parade because they can’t keep us or force us back just to do that. But I doubt it. ---

I thought you’d forgotten me be you did remember I was at the other dopefest. I don’t know, then I might be in NYC getting my brains fucked out. :):).Which does take pride of place even over beer and hamburgers. Maybe I can talk Jon(the pride of place guy) to come with. ---

I was lucky, my muster out was quick and simple, I was one of 4 leaving the service that day from the Ranger, but of course getting me from A school to the Ranger took 3 weeks.
