I’d like to come, if it’s not too late to respond by now. (I realize we’re only a week away at this point.) If I can still come, could you send me directions? And is it OK if my SO comes, too? I can, indeed, bring food of some kind. What sorts of food would we still be in need of (assuming it’s OK if I come, of course.)
You and your SO are most welcome to come, please Email me, it is in my profile and I will respond with directions and a map. As far as food, maybe a desert or snack food would be best. Jim ---

I’m thinking at this point I won’t make it. Not feeling very well. And not inclide to sneeze all over the BBQ. But I feel bad. I wanted to bring my cranberry tart. That’s best 5000 calories you’'ll ever find!(But cranberries are good for you!!!) (Next time at my place…but might be a while as I’m moving house.) ---

I guess I’m the first one to report back. It was a blast! I love meeting Dopers, especially all the really cool ones that were at this Dopefest. 🙂 The quote of the day was **Cleophus** saying “I’m having some of Jim’s nuts.” ---
