I think there was a lack of tact shown by **Jersey** in the thread towards **Eve** and others. I don’t follow her posts or know her enough to know if that’s par for the course, although that seems to be the opinion of the majority here. In any event, the remarks to and about **Eve** (who has become someone whose posts I like to read, of late) were over the top, and even if they violate no Rules they certainly did not appear to be very polite. I feel that in a less hostile discussion, she may have either not made the comments in the first place, or else apologized more readily for them; but then, like I said, I don’t know her or her past behaviour. Of course, fair or not, some of the hostile give-and-take in the GD thread really seems to me to be mainly based on past issues and conflicts between several actors. Hey, I can understand that, and I’m guilty of that myself, but what I’m saying is I’m not certain if the GD thread warranted this. However, in opposition to the opinion of **Ace** I feel that it is perfectly proper to start a thread on behalf of an offended or injured party. As for **Joe\_Cool** , I think that when someone took the time to speak respectfully and calmly to him, and not keep harping on things he _wasn’t_ doing in that particular thread, he responded back honestly and politely, and as a result we each made clear our respective positions and views. I feel it was clear that he is uncomfortable with transsexualism and transgendered persons, and I am somewhat bothered by his gender-divisions or gender-definitions - quite bothered, actually. But really, what can you expect? People have different feelings about a lot of things. So long as Joe doesn’t approve of or sanction in any way discrimination, retribution towards, violence, acts of hate, etc. against trans persons, then his dislike of them is something I can live with. It’s regrettable, but then, so are a lot of things. I’d rather try to talk to people about this to get them to understand, not hate, not fear. Because it’s pathetically easy and trivial to find people who disagree with, misunderstand, fear, or hate transsexual persons. It’s a real challenge to try to change minds. ---

JD does not grok in any way shape or form the difficult and tortured path that TS/TG individuals must walk to get to a point that they can have a reasonably comfortable existence within the gender roles they have chosen as appropriate. No one is more aware than they of the biological contraints and limits nature places on them. To have someone one come along and say “Well this is nice game of dress up you’re playing but come on, you’re a man, it’s obvious! Stop kidding yourself.” is about the nastiest and cruelest body blow you can land on a TS/TG person trying to get along in life. In case you were wondering Ace _that’s_ why most people in this thread are pissed. ---

## And you accept Jersey Diamond as a Christian? I accept this person has an abnormality, but believes she is Christian. If she was raised as a Christian, it is out of her control. This is what she knows. If I was a pastor, I would not minister to her. The bottom line is that if you act UnChristian, you are UnChristian. You can think whatever you want. If I suck up all the bullshit dogma and bang my bible, I look like I am Christian, that does not make me Christian. It means I am doing an impersonation of a Christian.
