While I know it has to historical accuracy, I always like the little old lady who said that “H” stood for Hallmark… because God cared enough to send the very best!

Shoot me, sometimes I like the smushy stuff!

WRT the inscription IHS, often seen in churches, I thought it stood for, “In Hoc Signo (Vinces)”, ie, In This Sign Conquer, but I agree that it appears to give JC the middle initial H.
