I thought it was funny. Also, I hate people who whine about wanting refunds from theaters and rental places purely because they didn’t like a movie, so I thought his customer deserved it ---

See, this is why I like having people like lissener or Argent Towers or Evil Captor or VCO3 around. They make the crazy of everyone else seem tame by comparison. And no offense is meant to Argent by the way, I’ve just noticed that a few of your recent threads (especially the Jewish movie star one) have ended with you yelling back at everyone that we’re not giving the right answers to your questions. Which is a very lissener (Rambo is more violentest than anything!) thing to do. ---

I’m going to have to take pretty serious umbrage at your characterization of me as being anywhere in the league of any of those other people, especially **VC03.** That’s bullshit. That Jewish movie star thread was only one instance of what you’re talking about, and at no point in it did I become combative, insult anyone, or act like a jerk. Also, a lot of what I write can be harsh, or crude, or strongly-worded, but I would hardly say that they “make the crazy of everyone else seem tame by comparison.” So, while I don’t want to get into an argument with you here, and I appreciate that you said you didn’t mean any offense, I think you are far off the mark. ---

[/QUOTE] That’s why I included the caveat about lately. I’ve never seen you act that before and I’ve only seen it in 2 or 3 other threads after the Jewish movie star one. I kind of assume it was a fluke or a bad couple of days or something. I just kind of linked you with lissener because you not accepting Jewish movie stars came a day or two after lissener refused to accept that any mainstream movie was as violent as Rambo. And you both kept changing the definitions to make yourselves seem right. It was eerie (and amusing). ---

lissener’s OP read as very lighthearted to me. If you’ve internalized the word cunt to the point that you can’t see it without going flying off the handle, that’s a personal problem. If you’re just so fed up with lissener that something that normally wouldn’t offend you offends you merely because he said it, then take advantage of our ignore feature. And Argent Towers: you’re a fucking madman. I mean that in the most sincere, complimentary way :). ---

I often find **lissener** to be an utter douche, but primarily because he seems to think this board should cater to him, personally. I recall him pitting people for posting the same links here as he’s seen on Fark, and pitting recreational outrage threads, completely oblivious to the fact this board is also for people other than him, who have different browsing habits and interests. That’s self-centered douchebaggery to a high degree, IMHO. But I found the “kicked her in the cunt” phrase funny. I assume he didn’t actually kick anybody, and I’m also not the type to mine all text I see for reasons to be outraged. ---

I’d say that anyone who asks for a refund for a movie they didn’t like or thought to be stupid (heh) definitely deserves a kick to the cunt, punch to the penis or any other alliterative assault to the privates they wield. We do not want these people reproducing. ---

However, I tend to avoid **lissener’s** threads (not because of his personality but because we don’t have the same taste in movies and I wouldn’t want him to kick me in **MY** cunt) so perhaps I’m missing some context here.
