Lissener reminds me of the character Jason in the webcomic Multiplex. McAlpin has cast pages where the character are asked what their five favorite movies are and Jason says: “I don’t like the word “favorite”…it implies that you’re only stating an opinion. I’ll tell you the five greatest movies ever made.” ---

I’m gonna pull up a lawn chair, twicks, and wait for the product of your search for cites to back up this ludicrous suggestion. (For the record, I’ve made just as much fun of male plastic surgery victims as female, and nowhere in my OP did I make her gender an issue; only her taste and her surgery addiction.) And anyway, when it comes to comes to movies he likes, he _is_ always right that they have merit. They may not be someone else’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t make him wrong. It’s when he _doesn’t_ like a movie that I don’t trust his opinion. At all. He hates some of my favorite films. (On edit, lissener beat me to it.) ---
