Jesus Lives Or Dies, You Decide

WaryEri, God knows I wouldn’t ever wear a sweater in July. Who ever said God made everything anyway. He made OUR everything, but he had company even while he was working on that task. We he said "Let “US” make man in our devine image, I don’t think he had a mouse in his pocket. He had other’s (we don’t know who) with him. I have never come up with any indication that he made evil. We are taking statements in the Bible very literally about him “knowing all” anyway. Not saying that he doesn’t(don’t really know), but part of the discussion of him knowing all had to do with being naughty or nice and never knowing when he would return. Thinking we know God’s true nature by some words written in a book is ridiculous and arrogant(okay that’s why I don’t play well with others in church). And if there were a psychic with “perfect knowledge”, it still wouldn’t change free will.

I think our creation had to do with the same reasons we(as a whole) have children. We want to love them , care for, help grow and for them to love us. We don’t want to control their every thought and move. We want them to learn, to grow, to be bright, creative, smart, etc. We don’t want to force them to love us and we really don’t want them to go off in search of other parents. We also want to, but know we can’t shield them from all hurt and mistakes. I think God wants the same for us.

There is really no available information on what God was doing or exactly who he was with before he created our heaven and earth. So no one can say with any certainty that we are actually his pre-programmed zombies or we’re here for his and our benefit. Starting a sentence with God can’t isn’t logical. He doesn’t have either or choices. I have really struggled to figure out why so many people think if God knows how the story goes, it takes our choice away. It just doesn’t. IWLN
