Yes, there’s a pro-Israel lobby. This lobbying includes donations to campaigns and PACs. It’s no different from any other lobby - guns, retired people, the financial industry, and so forth. However - this is the key part, here - the Israel lobby is not the Jewish lobby, or “Jewish influence”. As I cited earlier, American Jews are not uniform in their feeling toward Israel, and furthermore, the group of Israel supporters includes people who are not Jewish. To summarize - don’t conflate Israelis and Jews, or Israel supporters and Jews. ---

To be the Devil’s Advocate, I did meet a Rabbi in New Hampshire several years ago who supported Huckabey. I explained what an asshole he was, and Rabbi said, “Who cares? He likes Israel.” ---

Personally I refuse to vote for any candidate who speaks English. Because I worry about how their language affiliations might influence our foreign policy towards England. ---
