This thread has taken me back to riding the train in NY when I was a kid. Levy’s ads were ubiquitous. There were many but I think this guy is the iconic one.

Thinking about rye bread alone, there’s very little call for it outside of meat sandwiches. And as far as other bread goes, most sliced bread ends up in sandwiches, much of which are made with meat. Challah would be an exception, but you’d want that to be kosher, because, well, challah.
