# JFK CT and Tippett

Do most conspiracy theorists at least concede that Oswald did kill Tippett?

Since there were five or six eyewitnesses and Oswald was found a few minutes later with the matching gun in his pocket, it’s not one of the more debatable points of the event.

But IIRC, there are bizarre theories in the mix.

Tippett’s name was… JD, by the way. Just… JD.

Some of the CTs claim that Tippit was sent to silence Oswald, but Oswald got the drop on him.

Let me stress that I don’t believe that.

Sorry, wasn’t arguing with you… There are indeed CTs that postulate weird things about the Tippitt shooting, as above. Also that it was a setup intended to get LHO killed or thoroughly framed.

My point was that although you will find ignorant nattering about how mysterious it is, it’s one of the best documented, best witnessed and most damning points against Oswald. It has no motivation and makes no sense except as the act of a very guilty man.
