I wasn’t sure where to put this but since it’s an audible Pit-worthy rant, I thought I’d start here. This MUST be heard! It’s an awe-inspiring thing of beauty. Jim Cornette is a legendary Pro Wrestling manager, maybe the very last person you’d expect to hear ranting like this (well, unless you already knew he was a smart, articulate liberal, and not afraid to use profanity). He takes no prisoners, ranting about everything a liberal would want ranted about. It’s absolutely amazing! I adore Jim Cornette, adore him even more when he throws a wobbly and dislike Joey ‘OH MY GOD!’ Styles quite a bit. So a podcast where Cornette throws a wobbly inspired by Styles is just full of win by default. ---

It’s funny, I’d never heard of this guy until a couple of days ago, and now he’s my hero. He’s willing to tell it like it is, no holds barred. We liberals like to poke fun and sneer at the right wing, but anger seems to be no longer acceptable because, after all, we did win and are in power, so it’s almost like we’re too polite to tell these fuckers off. He does, and does it very well. Intelligent, articulate, knowledgeable ranting combined with the satisfying profanity that I, for one, wish I could muster again. We actually need anger again. These right wing dickheads are causing real damage (ask Tiller’s family) and need to be shouted down, scorned, marginalized, laughed at, dismissed and buried. You can’t will something to become viral, but I wish these YouTube links would go viral because they need to be heard. This guy needs a radio or TV show, to counteract the hatewing radio and TV. ---

That was a fuckin’ awesome! As a long time wrestling fan I’m more than familiar with Cornette’s career, and the fact that he’s a liberal, but I never knew he had that in him. Of course, I’ve been a fan of Joey Styles for a long time as well and the shit he’s been spewing the last few weeks has left me greatly disappointed in him. This made my day. Much respect to Jim for that rant. ---

Well, that was certainly long, and impassioned. But who the fuck is Joey Styles? **Clothahump** , if you will undertake to post a transcript of your link, I will follow by posting a transcript of two minutes of Mr. Cornette’s rant. We can see whose is more sensible and articulate. ---

Joey Styles is another pro wrestling personality. He was a TV announcer, from back in the 90’s and up until about a year ago, who recently moved behind the scenes to produce content for the WWE’s website. Over the last couple of weeks he’s been using his company supplied blog to regurgitate republican talking points for some reason. (Obama’s a socialist/Marxist/secret muslim/babykiller etc… you all know the drill) No one really seems to care much about it, but it was still nice to hear someone else in the industry respond like this. ---
