Hugs and good thoughts to \*\*kai \*\* - I hope you work things out. Calling \*\*Drae \*\* - whatā€™s the news on **rosie**?? \*\*palebunny \*\* - congrats! Too bad you donā€™t live closer - I have 2 doggies that need some serious grooming. On the other hand, bummer - I was hoping to hire you to house-and-critter-sit while we go on vacation this summer and again this fall. You shoulda checked with me first, dagnabbit! Where are your loyalties!!! Sheesh, the young generationā€¦ My new bedspread and window coverings are here already. I ordered them Saturday night on line and they were on the porch when I came home. JC Penney just impressed me. I tossed the box it all came in on the floor, and Brandy has taken it as her cave - cracks me up!! In a few minutes, Iā€™m going to run the vacuum in here - our carpet is disgusting. Iā€™ve also got to take the bedroom door down to the basement - itā€™s been sitting in the hall since Saturday. And I need to change for class - Iā€™ll be going early tonight since Iā€™ve only got 4 sessions to finish my final project. Or 5? Anyway, semester is almost over, and Iā€™ve got stuff to do, so Iā€™m heading in early to do it. All you computer problem people, please keep the gremlins to yourselves. I got an email from my baby this morning - her computer died, mostly. \*\*FCD \*\* talked her thru starting it in the SAFE mode, so she was able to recover her project for Thursday. Iā€™m hoping one of her geeky friends can figure it out for her. Otherwise, weā€™ll have to pay for getting it fixed since sheā€™s broke. Always something. And on that note, Iā€™m off to do chores. Maybe. We shall seeā€¦ ---

Iā€™ll more than likely be having leftover steak and some veggies. Whatā€™s good in a frittata? Does onions, green peppers, cheese, and little bits of pork sound good? I may have to experiment with this in a couple of weeks when Iā€™m going to be even more poor than I made myself last weekend. Eggs are a cheap and tasty form of protein, and Iā€™m sure I could use to make something thatā€™s breakfast-y thatā€™s not ā€œjustā€ breakfast-y. ---

For the true left over PBJ experience you need to age your sandwiches in oak or pine barrels for three to five years (make sure it is out of the sunlight and in a dry room!). This time frame allows the peanut oil and the jelly to mix together and give the whole sandwich, not just the area between the slices of bread, that delicious flavor. ---

Been busy the last couple days, havenā€™t had a chance to read anything, but ā€¦ **The Rosie Update** I just heard from a friend of **Rosieā€™s** , who gave me call because sheā€™s currently phoneless. The surgery went well, and sheā€™s already started with the physical therapy. Unfortunately, an administrative/spatial relations problem at the hospital kept her in Recovery until last night until they could find her a bed in the ICU, where they send patients just out of Recovery. As of right now, sheā€™s _still_ in the ICU, because they canā€™t find a regular bed for her. Iā€™m told sheā€™s bored as hell, but doing fine. Iā€™ll let you know when I hear more. Back to your regularly scheduled MMP. šŸ˜ƒ ---

Good evening everyone. Big hugs to **Kai.** I hope you and your husband can work it out. Congrats to those whoā€™ve gotten jobs and congrats to **Mindy** for not tossing the PC out of a high window and smashing it to tiny little bits. Thatā€™s what I would have done, even if I had the expertise you have in this area. Tonightā€™s chop-chop will be leftover spiral ham and some taters and gravy, with a salad. Work was slightly better today. **Swampy,** you wanna come take care of my lawn? Itā€™ll take you about 15 minutes, tops, to mow it. However, the back lawn is nothing but patches of dandelions, interspersed with lawn and bare patches. If you could dig all the weeds out, lay some topsoil down and reseed it, thatā€™d be great too! Iā€™ll make you some kind of salmon or whatever you want. šŸ˜ƒ Thatā€™s all for my exciting day. Hugs to all. I still miss being able to post during the day so I can actually keep up. ---
