Then FUCKING share links to those “complete videos” with us – with timestamps or indications as to where in a long video we should be looking – rather than just complaining that we’re all taking these statements out of what you insist is important context that will make us all believe that Charlie Kirk’s statements, which make him look like a bigot and a racist, would be seen differently if we saw them “in context.”
Give us one example of something a Kirk quote which people here are saying is racist, and a broader, “in context” cite of that quote which makes it clear that Kirk was not racist. ONE.
Riffing on this — and I hope it’s not too much of a digression — I read that Nexstar has a filing with the FCC to acquire TEGNA, the parent of KING (NBC). Since I can’t see the current FCC raising even an iota of fuss, it looks like two of the four television news outlets in the area will be controlled by the über-right.
While Cox, which owns KIRO (CBS) has taken Sinclair to task in the past, my impression is that it is, at best, center-right. So I find it deeply ironic that the most “fair and balanced” television news source is likely to be the Fox affiliate.
