Sitting VPs generally wait longer to get started. They can afford to. If he gets in in September he’ll be just fine.
The trouble is, Hillary has sucked up all the endorsements and money. If I’m Biden and want to run, I jump in a year ago. Of course, family comes first and once Beau went into decline it’s certainly understandable not to have devoted any time to it. I’m rooting for him, but realistically money talks and Hillary has it in spades.
I’m not taking your word for it. Why are you making baseless predictions? Where does this stuff come from? Maybe Biden’s thinking about it, but I see no evidence that he’s close to actually running.
Just a thing about “honest and trustworthy”: this country voted for Tricky Dick twice and his party nominated him 3 times.
Who are you thinking of? And, assuming you can tell us, did they face a favored strong opponent for their nomination?

Nothing’s going on here, people. This is a creation of a small community of reporters with air time and column inches to fill, all of whom are sick of Trump already. If Biden had any interest at all, he’d have done a little more than jack about it so far.
I really hate this Republican trope. The Real America. Real Americans. Regular Folk.
Presumably they’re not talking about me, since I dare to live on a coast and have a University education. Why does that make me less of a "real american’? I’m not a regular folk? I work, raise my kids, donate to charity, volunteer where I can, have friends, have hobbies etc etc.
So many often Republicans resort to this (Chris Christie just recently). What makes people different than me the Real Americans and the Regular Folk?

Lot of concern trolling over Hillary from the Republicans. Omigod, she’s gonna implode any day now due to The Scandal, whatever that scandal is today.
She’s pre-disastered for scandals. There is no scandal that can touch her. Nobody is truly concerned over her emails, nobody is truly concerned over Benghazi, nobody is concerned over whatever else they’re trying to peddle on Fox. Even the people on Fox don’t care about the scandals, they care about Hillary.
And people claiming to be Clinton loyalists who spout all kinds of bizarre stuff? Not exactly believable.
Concern trolling means we care about Democrats. For me at least, I’m insulted that anyone would think that someone who 57% of the public thinks isn’t honest is going to be foisted on us as a candidate by the same people that think we are the ones who deny reality.
