Joe Bob \<John Bloom\> is also the co-author of a true-crime book called “Evidence of Love”. One of the better ones out there \<probably out of print now\>

Joe Bob also does a column for “The Door.” This is an religious satire magazine. I realize that may sound like a contradiction in terms, but it is really funny. (They tend to go after televangelists and people who say stupid religious things.) They have a website [thedoormagazine.com](http://thedoormagazine.com). Anyway, Joe Bob reviewed various stories in the Bible. He always had something very pithy to say, in a funny way. I just checked, and he’s listed on the masthead as “semi associate editor.”

I just wanted to say how gratifying it is to see so many SDMB folk who enjoy this guy’s brand of humor. I think he manages to pack a lot of social commentary into his work, even when dealing with things like chainsaw-fu, breast counts and vomit meters.
