If Lieberman actually accepts the role, it will prove once and for all that he’s a total fraud. ---

The media had said the appointment was expected to happen Friday before Trump left on his trip–so perhaps Trump is changing his mind. ---

I guess somebody with a modicum of sense at the Trump administration realized that choosing a partner in the same law firm as Trump’s personal attorney would not be a good thing. ---

Besides, he already has all of the Goldman Sachs C-suite in his cabinet. Seriously, who is there who is prepared for the job, would command broad respect etc., and would be willing to work for Trump, especially given the circumstances? Are there any options other than just promoting the #2/acting guy? ---
