Oh, and saying out loud that $50 million is a turn-off was so transparently a way to say: “Look at me! I am so darn grounded and down-to-earth that money turns me off! I am not a gold digger! Now don’t I deserve that big payoff?” It reminded me very much of the Cheers episode where Rebecca acted quite the same way toward Evan Drake when he was suddenly poor. She felt that acting like she didn’t care about money would be her best route to getting the money she thought he had. ---

Personally, I find it heartwarming that a good looking man can still fuck a bunch of good-looking women that he’s lying to, pick the best one, and make a bunch of coin for it. God Bless America. ---

Frankly, I believed her. If you’re poor, dating the uber-rich could be a major turn off. Talk about an uneven relationship. That doesn’t mean that she has any problem with money _per se_, or being rich herself. Their should have been more Sarah and Melissa, also more Mojo (still crazy!) and Heidi (still a controlling bitch!). Ah. And yep, I too know exactly who he’d pick and what the twist was. ---

After taxes, Evan and Zora are each 250,000-aires. Note that the preview for next week’s episode referred to the first “reunion” of Evan and Zora. Sounds like they each went their own ways after they cashed their checks. Sniff. ---

It would have easily given away the ending. I think they do that with most of these types of shows. ---

The bit about having to be apart is certainly true. They probably didn’t get their actual checks 'til it was all said and done, just to make sure they wouldn’t blow it. Also, note that the first time they said it, they said it was the first time they’d been together since the show. The second time (as they were rolling credits), they said it was the first time _in public_. ---

**David B** , you may be right. They DID say that the second time. I think that the theory about the two of them not being allowed to be SEEN together is probably correct. After all, they couldn’t be seen together in public or everyone would guess who the girl he chose is. On the other hand, a few weeks ago I saw a grocery store tabloid that identified Zora as the winner. So, maybe they WERE seen together… Then again, that ALSO gave “details” about their wedding. 😛 I have just one final thought- Did Sarah, in her “packing conversation” with Melissa, actually do what I think she did with that sock? :eek: (Incidentally- First post.) ---

Did you hear when Sarah and Melissa were talking at the end, when Sarah was imitating Evan and said something to the effect of “but really I’m a big loser and I’m broke!” So we know what HER opinion is on guys with no money. ---

But FOX had subtitles for everything… Except for the part where the sock or handkerchief was by her mouth. Could anyone REALLY make out what she said? Was the lack of subtitles because FOX couldn’t figure out what she had said, or because what she said was “too racy”? ---
