Well, what are you going to do about it? Let Rush Limbaugh and Joe Scarborough control your life? No where else could a suggestion to relax and look on the bright side be met with such hostility. The Democrats just won the white house and picked up seats in both houses of congress. Go buy a rowboat or something, I promise it will be a more productive use of your time than worrying about what “the enemy” is saying. ---

No, I haven’t forgotten it, nor have I forgotten the even more condescending comment about 14 year olds. People in here are saying they like to know what people they disagree with are thinking, yes even the snotty and crazy people. If I weren’t willing to listen to the snotty or the crazy people, I would have bailed on this thread quite a while ago. ---

And it is obviously my sincere opinion that you should take Sun Tzu’s advice and know the other side, including those slightly more up to date and off center than the Speaker of the House from a decade ago. No “stress” is even necessary, since you seem to be the only one pitching that particular point. Sticking your head in the sand to avoid knowledge, or demonizing the other side by calling them “crazies” doesn’t appear to accomplish anything, in my opinion. Well, except keep \*you \*calm, so it can’t be all bad. ---

And for me getting good and pissed off at Joe Scarborough reminds me to do something better with my time at 6 AM, especially when the election is over. If I’m not toxically pissed, I’ll forget and waste the time watching his TV show. Today, as it happens, I took a walk in the forest (and missed the show in question!), which wouldn;t have happened if I werent thoroughly disgusted with him. ---
