I listened to London Calling on the way back from visiting my folks for Christmas today in honor of Joe. Damn, what a good album!
Rudy Can’t Fail
Revolution Rock
Brand New Cadillac
Hateful
“That’s Montgomery Clift, honey!”

RIP

Last night I talked to a friend who’s my age (mid-thirties). He reads the English music magazines, and apparently Joe was not leading a healthy lifestyle. Smoking and drinking to the end, apparently.

I guess rock pioneers don’t need drugs to die young. (That’s also what killed Jerry Garcia, more or less.)

☹
