Boy, that dude sure knows how to overstay his welcome, doesn’t he? Would someone please, for the sake of the entire planet, bundle him, Regis Philbin, Rod Blahblahblahblah and Joe Lieberman up in a gunny sack and toss them off a very tall bridge into swift, icy, and far-from-emergency-services currents? ---

I don’t really have a problem with him outside of my normal annoyance with dumbassery. McCain made him famous and he’s making money while he can, and so would I. I do want to shove Palin up his PR agent’s ass as well as provide a finely crafted columbian neck tie to all the news people picking up the story (it’s all over the 24h news networks today). ---

I vaguely remember that during the last french presidential election, there was a guy who was mentioned at some point by someone as an example of something, but I couldn’t tell more about him. This guy, starting as a random tool, became a political commentator, a campaign advisor, an author, and now a correspondent in a foreign country. Somehow, he doesn’t seem as stupid as some paint him. Maybe you guys should have elected him as president. Hmmm…since he still has four years to accumulate public recognition, money, foreign experience and the like, maybe he _will_ be your next president. ---
