OK just so everyone is on the same page here: Someone bumped a 6 year old thread about Chevy Chase [Why does everyone (seemingly) hate Chevy Chase? - Cafe Society - Straight Dope Message Board](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=300253) to correct a spelling error in one of the ancient posts.

And then this snoozer of a Pit thread was born.

As an aside, during the melee \*\*Colibri \*\*used the term: “_Horny sheath_” and didn’t get so much as a mod note for it!
