I didn’t know for sure that Dick’s is owned by the same people.

I jumped to that conclusion as the result of the t-shirt artwork/logos.

They had sort of a Don Martin look to them.

Nope.

Joe’s is completely opposite–very light-hearted.

At various times, the staff dances to the Muzak piped in.

Birthdays are much bigger “events” than at other restaurants.

I do like the Joe’s logo “Seafood with an attitude.” It shows a crab with a hammer (but not me, ha ha) conking on the back of the head of a pirate looking guy.
