A minor pitting but I didn’t want to hijack anymore threads. Johanna, stop hijacking threads with your transsexual/feminist nonsense! I was delighted when you stopped posting 25973463 threads a day about your love for the vertical smile, but you still insist on interjecting your decidedly gendered self into threads which have nothing to do with feminism or gender and going off into inane tangents. [This](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=343293) interesting thread asks if the sexes really are separate. I learned what “vertical smile” meant back in the 80’s, when the hair band Warrant considered using it for the title of an album. They opted for _Cherry Pie_ instead. ---

I enjoy **Johanna’s** posts, especially those in GQ. I hadn’t found the gender stuff overpowering, though. In fact, up till this moment I didn’t know she was transsexual. ---

No, Johanna is transsexual, see my quoted post of hers in the OP. I don’t think she’s even lesbian, I seem to remember a post of hers where she said she was attracted to males as well. I could be wrong though, I did a search and came up with nothing. ---

I’m having a hard time finding anything offensive or irritating about the cites you provided. So she likes to add her own perspective, so what?
