There’s rumors that Kevin McCarthy is the leading candidate to succeed Boehner. He isn’t the kind of guy that a Rep. Thomas “Boehner subverted our democracy” Massie would particularly like. ---

He doesn’t have to. Boehner’s resignation isn’t effective until 10/30, so there’s no point. ---
