It’s not good. That’s for sure. Point to the examples of Islamic countries where attitudes to women have improved after intervention by the US. There is a notable example of an Islamic country invaded by the US recently where I’m not sure the US is too popular amongst women. Probably because of the number with dead relatives. I’m sure declaring war on Iran will make Iranian women ecstatic. There’s nothing like blowing away a few children, smashing entire neighbourhoods, eviscerating hospitals, destroying electricity production and clean water supplies to improve the lot of women.
Declare war, that’ll help. Everywhere the US intervenes, Islamic fundamentalism goes down. Have you noticed? Neither have I.
Yep, that was pretty bad. What’s the death and injury count so far on this? How many displaced? How many cities destroyed? How many were kept captive in the US embassy? How long were they kept there? How many at Guantanamo and for how long?
Oh yes, the differences between Iran’s malfeasances and the US president’s malfeasances are pretty damn clear.
