I have not read the entire thread. I have to work at 5am. I think ICE and homeland security have been so poisoned and tainted by their own actions that abolishing them, and creating a new better trained, unmasked, and _ **accountable** _ agency is crucial to anyone ever trusting and/or supporting them. Frankly, all ice officers and their enablers should be arrested and tried for their many crimes. It’s a lot more consideration than they afford to the people they kidnap, arrest, and abuse. ---

Joking aside, I’m with @betonbill - I was originally slightly skeptical of the actual severity of his health (mental or otherwise), but he needs to put his health first. Clinging to a political power that seems to make him truly unhappy based on some reporting is only going to make things worse, as the demands he step down increase based on his unreliability to the Democratic voters.
