# John Fetterman really needs to resign

You’re right, there _could have been_ a point to the comparison other than “ICE is as bad as Hamas”, and if in reply to me asking if that was really what they meant they’d have told me that “no, of course not, Hamas is clearly many times worse, but that’s not the point I was making” I might have looked pretty silly. But, as I thought, that’s not what either ThingFish or Andy responded with. Because it seems pretty clear that they _do_ think that ICE is as bad as Hamas, or at the _very_ least, would _like_ to act like Hamas does but can’t quite yet.

Eta: actually, in the interest of accurately representing what Andy said, he didn’t say that ICE is “as bad” as Hamas, he said they were 90% of the way there.
