Rarely has a book so captivated my attention only to kick me in the teeth at the end.

During the read, I was looking forward to the movie. Not any more.

One of my favourite contemporary authors no more. I won’t be able to read any more of his works without checking the ending first. Like that will work :rolleyes:

I’m grieving.
