Wow; sounds like the guy really went around the bend. And managed to lose an incredible amount of money in the process; from 100 million to 4? Ouch. ---

_60 Minutes_ did a piece on him a year or two back, and it was clear even back them that there was something off about the guy; He clearly has an enormous ego, and it looked to me that drug abuse was pretty clearly behind some of his more bizarre ideas. ---

When we were in Belize this summer, the tour guides on the river pointed out his house. Not nearly as nice as you’d think, strangely. ---
