I opened this thread because I couldn’t believe he’s actually black. When I realized my mistake, I was too embarrassed to say anything, so it’s nice to hear it’s not just me. It’s like that [horizontal butthole](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/horizontal-buttonhole/752401) thread.

As for the actual topic, I enjoy his comedy and I’ve seen nothing so far that indicates hot garbage. Relationships are impossible to judge from the outside. Absent some information that is much worse than “he divorced his wife and is now dating someone else,” I’ll not judge too harshly.
