I’m not too familiar with him. I do remember seeing him in loads of 1970s action TV shows, notably _The Six Million Dollar Man_, and also the movie _Battle Beyond The Stars_, but outside of that he seems to have passed me by. ---

I remember him in Planet Earth which was a pilot for a new SF TV series from Gene Roddenberry in the 70s but the series was not picked up. ---

He was conisdered for the role of “Max Cherry” in _ **Jackie Brown** _. It went to the late Robert Forster instead. RIP, John. ---

I was thinking Joe Don Baker was in the first Walking Tall movie and Bo Svenson was in the sequels, so maybe you had those two actors confused for each other. But then I checked and found that Svenson is also still alive. ---

He was in one of my all-time favorite movies - Mr Hobbs Takes a Vacation. I thought he was gorgeous.
