John W. Campbell and his Los Alamos Subscribers

I just realized I said earlier that I wanted this information for an article I was writing and then I never got around to linking to that article.

It appeared in New York Review of Science Fiction, #341, June 2017, but that site is now defunct. Fortunately, I also published it on my website, which meant I could add pictures, capturing the spirit of the 1940s in both doom and optimism.

Thanks so much, @pjd. No “:envelope: Message” button or :envelope: for me just yet. I still expect it’s new-user purgatory and will disappear after I’ve made enough posts over some requisite period of time to graduate to trusted status. Thanks, also, to you and to @Chronos, for helping me to understand the image hosting setup here.

In any case, Exapno_Mapcase has messaged me and I’m able to at least get to that DM thread via the notification his message triggered, which is all I needed for now. The rest of my inbox remains vaporware for the moment, but I have faith that will change at some point.
