Well, other than Gene Wilder, I can’t think of anyone more suited for the role of Willy Wonka that Johnny Depp, so the casting doesn’t worry me. What worries me is that they will somehow devise politically correct Oompa Loompas and delete the LSD ride down the chocolate river. Then again, politically incorrect Oompa Loompas and an LSD ride sound right up Johnny’s alley, so maybe I have nothing to worry about. Policatally correct Oompa Loompa–an oxymoron. ---
