I’ve just started watching this in the UK. Trump has just said to Clinton “No wonder you’ve been fighting ISIS your entire adult life.” What in the fucking fuck is that crazy fucking motherfucker smoking? He’s just throwing words around and hoping they make sense. P.S. He just said “We’re stuck in a big fat ugly bubble.” He’s talking about the stock market, but it occurs to me he could just as easily be talking about his own teeth. ---

You’re saying he looked like a buffoon compared to Clinton, who I presume you think looked Presidential. I just hope the regression to the mean creates a narrative that Clintons polls are going up. (I’m rather skeptical that debates actually do anything to the polls directly.) ---

To be fair, I have a vague recollection that he said his usual campaign trail stuff like that a couple of times, but I couldn’t tell you in connection with which issue. And he didn’t use it as often as I expected he would. But that was ok. He came unhinged more than once and reacted predictably. I was so pleased. ---
