I have some music by bands that are parody/goofy **but** are musically very talented. For example, **The Electric Amish** , cover songs with a humorous [Amish tilt.](http://www.electricamish.com/music.html)They display some talent, along with a sense of humor. **Red Elvises** , a group of Eastern European surf guitar rockers. I’ve seen them in concert several times. The bass player plays a funny, [oversized bass guitar,](http://www.bigbasstabs.com/thread/521.html)but actually produces excellent sound. I’d love to listen to music from the band **Bubba and Ganoush**. The album cover would feature Bubba in dirty coveralls and a straw hat, and Gannoush in stereotypic Middle Eastern sorta dress. maybe even a take-off on Captain and Tennille. Their music would be “eclectic”. (I made this one up) Weird Al Yankovic, duh. Yours? ---

The Lonely Island has some good production values. I actually find myself wishing songs like Jack Sparrow and Mama had less comedic dialogue and more lyrics. ---
