Three couples are waiting at the Pearly Gates and St Peter looks up the first man in the register. “Sorry,” he says, “you’re not coming in. All your life the only thing you ever thought about was money. Money is all right in its own place, but not when it becomes the only thing you are interested in. Why, you even married a woman named Penny.” Then he turns to the second couple and says to the man “Again, I’m sorry to say, all your life you were focussed on the wrong thing, and with you it was drink. You spent your whole life planning for your next one or brooding over how long it was since the last time, and I’m sure you agree it’s revealing that you even married a woman called Sherry.” At which point the third man turns to his wife and says “Come on, Fanny, we’re wasting our time here.” ---

Jokes are not riddles. This is a riddle: I drive a vintage model car. This car was once very popular on the road, though it is seldom seen today. My car model was always made in America. The model name is kind of funny…at least it always makes me laugh. My twin brother, however, doesn’t care about cars much. He always drives some common everyday model. When I went to visit him last month and pulled into his driveway I saw, oddly enough, that my brother is now driving a model whose name is an exact anagram of my car. What model of car does my brother now drive? ---
