# Jokes not allowed in GQ anymore? Q for Samclem and other mods

I agree that the unofficial “GQ Joke Rule” is after the OP has been adequately answered, jokes are fine.

I think the moderators do give a _lot_ of latitude when the thread title has been typed incorrectly. For example, find out just how NASA protects the astronauts from [comic radiation](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=329739&highlight=cosmic) LOL.  
That thread was a frivolity festival until SamClem stepped in to change the topic title.

In all seriousness, I thought the OP _really_ wanted to know about the dangers of _comic_ radiation. 😃  
… well I did have _some_ doubts LOL
