# "Jolene"! Whose version do you like best?

Nah. Jolene us in a position of power. Dolly is trying to appeal to both Jolene’s vanity and to her humanity. Beyoncé is perhaps saying she is better than Jolene.

But as Beyoncé herself says, “this ain’t a country album. It’s a Beyoncé album”.

Dolly is #1, I agree.

I agree with all this, but _damn_ woman- if your man is so easily led astray by "f_laming locks of auburn hair_  
_With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green"_, then he aint worth singing over. Let him go and get yourself a real man. 🤪

But yeah, Dolly all the way.

I really like Miley’s version and Dolly’s original. Beyonce’s music doesn’t do much for me in general, her Jolene included.
