Nah. Jolene us in a position of power. Dolly is trying to appeal to both Jolene’s vanity and to her humanity. Beyoncé is perhaps saying she is better than Jolene.

And, she has a good heart. Her humility shines bright, as she gracefully shares the spotlight with fellow artists, celebrating their talents while her own songs remain unmatched in their original splendor.

I really like Miley’s version and Dolly’s original. Beyonce’s music doesn’t do much for me in general, her Jolene included.
