Maybe I’m naturally oversensitive, or maybe someone just slipped me decaf coffee this morning, but Ponder Stibbons Stibbons makes so many laughably counter-productive statements, it boggles the mind to think about them. Let me get to the crux of the matter: Ponder Stibbons’s bait-and-switch tactics are a mere cavil, a mere scarecrow, one of the last shifts of a desperate and dying cause. I don’t object to his claims because he combines greed and blood lust into a single persona. I object because once people obtain the critical skills that enable them to think and reflect and speculate independently, they’ll realize that I believe I have finally figured out what makes people like Ponder Stibbons condone illegal activities. It appears to be a combination of an overactive mind, lack of common sense, assurance of one’s own moral propriety, and a total lack of exposure to the real world. It’s our responsibility to fight to the end for our ideas and ideals. That’s the first step in trying to open students’ eyes, minds, hearts, and souls to the world around them, and it’s the only way to operate on today’s real – not tomorrow’s ideal – political terrain.

Out of curiosity, what illegal activies have you found **Ponder Stibbons** condoning? There are at least a few illegal activities that I condone, though I generally avoid condoning them too strongly on the board lest I be taken for an extended vaction in Cuba.
