May I just post a friendly reminder to you ~~inattentive jerks~~ fine posters that this **Pit thread** was created to rant about Pit-worthy digressions that would have been out of bounds in **[the CS thread that is well suited to these kinds of discussions](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/jon-stewart-returns-to-the-daily-show-not-for-politics-see-p-e-thread/996614)**.

The only reason I mention this is that it leads to the usual problem of having a conversation fragmented all over the place so you don’t know where to post or where to find the relevant comments. Or maybe just because I’m an obsessive-compulsive shit-disturber. 😉
