Like most people, I have been getting my _Schadenfreude_ from the French guy in New York. But then I came across an article in [The Yeshiva World News](http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/General+News/93696/Jonathan-Pollard-Devastated-By-No-Update-From-Bibi.html). (what, you don’t read the Yeshiva World News?) The headline is **Jonathan Pollard Devastated By No Update From Bibi** Apparently, the spy business is played roughly and Jon is devastated that his buddy did not drop by for visiting hours during his recent trip to the US. Cue Nelson Munz. ---

Just out of curiosity, why were you reading YWN? (For my insanely right-wing ultra-Orthodox news, I prefer the more Hasidic-leaning Vos Iz Neias, which doesn’t censor the way YWN does.) ---

In case you’re being serious, no, it is not racist to remark that a woman you are holding up as the example of “Arab girls” does not look like an Arab girl but a pointy-nosed lilly-skinned Latvian Air stewardess. She doesn’t look any more “out of place” than any of the blondes from the Israeli pictures… there has been a lot of crossbreeding around the Mediterranean shores since the sail got invented, which was a while back. ---

Sure. I understand that. I still think it’s an atypical enough facial structure from what most people think of when they hear “Arab girls” that it warrants some surprise. I don’t feel that it merits having the R-word thrown at me. But again, I can’t tell if **Paul** is being serious or not. I will say that I’m getting a boozy vibe from his posts here. ---
