The Free Jingerites have been speculating about this for months now. Josh has no experience, no degree, no ability to keep his mouth from spouting the most ridiculous nonsense regarding pretty much anything outside of his barren Quiverfull upbringing, and has three children and an uneducated wife to support. This is merely a publicity stunt by both the FRC and TLC AND Mommy and Daddy Duggar. He’ll be done there in a year, back home, back at “his” used car lot (at which is rarely is seen - it’s patently obvious that Daddy JimBoob owns it and runs it), and writing his memoirs. ---

Up until a few months ago he had a used car lot in Springdale, Arkansas. Source: I drove by it every day to work. There was a large poster of him and his wife and kids on the outside wall. ---

So given that a major part of the FRC’s reason for existence is to prevent gay marriage, I wonder if today’s rulings make his job that much easier or that much harder. ---

The handwriting’s on the wall as far as where things are headed, but since today’s rulings did not make a sweeping redefinition of marriage, this will intensify the efforts of groups like the FRC. They may experience an increase in financial support, but lobbying Congress is only going to get more difficult from here on in. ---

[Duggar sibling sexually assaulted sisters, another female, according to police report](http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/05/21/duggar-sibling-sexually-assaulted-sisters-another-female-according-to-police-report/) I hope that the atonement, rehabilitation, and the forgiveness is real. I’m trying not to judge the Duggar parents on how they handled this situation, cuz honestly I don’t know what I would have done. On one hand, at least they didn’t totally ignore it. But if the family friend hadn’t gotten involved, I don’t think they would have done more than give Josh a stern talking-to. ---

Stupid teenagers do stupid shit. Not condoning his behavior, and not saying I did anything like that when I was a kid, but dang I did some dumbass embarrassing shit when I was a teen. I hope for his wife and kids’ sake that this isn’t some ongoing sexual thing with him, and I actually doubt it is. Like I said, stupid teenagers do stupid shit. ---

[Josh has already resigned from the FRC.](http://www.people.com/article/josh-duggar-molestation-accusations-duggars-respond) There were rumors for years about Josh doing something “inappropriate” as a teenager, but nobody knew the details or that his sisters were the victims. According to the police report, the Duggars only told church elders and dealt with it by sending Josh to a church camp. That’s not rehabilitation IMO. Supposedly the police only got involved after someone from the Oprah Winfrey show tipped them off. Wonder if TLC will cancel the show. ---

I missed the edit window; It get’s [worse](https://celebrity.yahoo.com/blogs/celeb-news/josh-duggar-named-in-underage-sex-abuse-scandal--report-195532368.html) the cop fucking Jim Bob reported told to was a “family friend” who not neglected to report it to DHS, but is now severing a 56 year sentence for child pornography. Josh has resigned from the FRC. It’ll be interesting to see how the show addresses this since it’s gotten to big to ignore. ---

I’m not willing to look this up, because it’s way too close for comfort, but my concern is that Josh and Anna are married long enough to have daughters only slightly younger than the sisters (and their friend) he molested as a teen. I truly hope someone is watching out for those girls, and any nieces and remaining sisters he has that around that age.
