Joy to the World Lyric Question

A rabbi, an imam, and a priest are walking through town late one night. From the open window of a nearby house they hear the creak of bedsprings, faster and louder, and then a masculine voice going “OMIGOD! OMIGOD! O.MI.GOD!” and then silence.

“Bless you, my child,” shouts the priest through the window as they walk by.

The rabbi and the imam express surprise that the priest would respond that way. “Nonsense,” says the priest, “it’s required. Look in the Book of Common Prayer and you’ll see it right there in black and white: ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

Gives a whole new meaning to ‘every sperm is sacred’…
