Yes, that was **Tater’s** prime rib I was lusting after! Our dinner turned out pretty darn good, and my daughter once again made most of it. My day was very long, but filled with warmth and love thanks to my wonderful friends who came to share Christmas with us. My dinner turned out great, and I’ve still got probably over half of my roast left. The rack has been lovingly wrapped and put away so I can make my prime rib soup. However, tomorrow night we will be having more prime rib roast, mashed potatoes, gravy with chanterelle mushrooms, and asparagus. Plus the croissant rolls I forgot to put on the the table. They weren’t missed. There was plenty of food to nosh on while dinner was being prepared. So sad and disappointed that I need to head back to work tomorrow. ---

I went thru Basic Electricity and Electronics, Avionics “A” school, and advanced avionics school. Back in them days, they still taught vacuum tubes and such skills as soldering (which I sucked at.) We did a lot on antennas and I never did entirely understand the theory. Thus began my 37+ years of association with the Navy. Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 58 Amurrkin out which is the high for the day cause the temp will drop to 53 this mornin’ accordin’ to the weather PTB. We also have a “wind advisory” which means there will be wind! It rained a bunch overnight and might rain some this mornin’. Loverly day to go back to irk. **flytrap** snow and ferret toenail clippin’. What an excitatin’ life you lead! 😃 Glad your dindins turned out good **Taters and Herbs**. blurf I’m up too early. I’ve got to let piddle pup out at 8 so I could do haunted house cat first but it’s still dark out. I’m gonna kill the dog, he just upended all my dirty laundry onto the floor and he’s moving it all around the bedroom. He’d rather sleep on dirty laundry than his bed. He looks miserable though, like he can’t get it piled the way he wants it. Poor thing, I guess I won’t kill him… this time.
