**jtur88** got a [warning](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=17975006&postcount=8) the other day for threadshitting in a thread about adjustable eyeglass lenses. He announces, apropos of nothing, that people who refuse to wear lined bifocals are a bunch of spoiled crybabies. I fully endorse this pitting. I’ve seeing more and more of this phenomenon on other online forums–old retired farts, always male, whiling away their days being assholes on message boards. When called out on their crap, they defend themselves with phrases like “taking no bullshit” and “telling like it is.” This behavior must be swiftly eradicated whenever and wherever it appears.
