He also put on a bravura performance in **Northern Piper** ’s thread about parliamentary party leaders who defect to the Opposition. He roamed confidently over the equilateral triangle bounded by Pedantic, Irrelevant, and Insanely Fucking Stupid, and managed to hit some combinations of each never previously seen. I’m not going to link to it. I can’t. It’s too painful. ---

His legal opinions are virtually guaranteed to be wrong. It wouldn’t be a bad rule of thumb to assume that the opposite of whatever he says is true. ---

More [nonsense](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=18002978#post18002978) in the thread about state boundaries. I honestly don’t understand this behavior. He’s been repeatedly shown that he doesn’t know the first thing about the law, yet he continues to post definitive statements as if he knows what he’s talking about. And state boundary law is one of those convoluted, highly fact-specific areas of law, so making definitive statements about it is even more bizarre. ---
