# Judy's Hamburger vs Wendy's

Who has iinfo on Judy’s Hamburgers… the store was identical to the Original Wendy’s Hamaburgers, except the girls hair was blonde instead of red/orange.

That’s rather confusingly written, to me. It seems to be saying simultaneously that Dave Thomas did not come up with the Wendy’s idea, just buying up Judy’s, but that he also licensed out his restaurant style to Judy’s.

Here is one lawsuit about Judy’s and it makes clear Wendy’s was suing them to change:
