Ideology trumps biology? There’s nothing “biological” at stake here. Asserting that certain behaviors exhibited or encouraged by Blanc ought to be considered socially unacceptable does not constitute a fight against biology. ---

Here’s a dose of Schadenfreude for the day: Mr. Blanc\* gets [raked over the coals](http://edition.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/living/2014/11/17/newday-intv-cuomo-blanc-dating.cnn.html) in an interview with CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo. He looks like he’s about to shit his pants as he explains how sorry he is that he’s the most hated person in the world. But, you know, we took it all out of context, and shit. Normally this sort of thing would make me feel uncomfortable, but actually I enjoyed every minute of watching this worm squirm. \*I call him ‘Mr. Blanc’ because I presume that’s how the attorney will refer to him during the cross-examination. ---

Not exactly raked, IMHO. He’s trying to back away from it all as attempting humour. He was giving it his best weaselling, but I didn’t see him taking many hits, to be honest. Yeah, the host took a couple of shots. But they didn’t seem to land to me, and in the end he just provided a platform for this jerk to make some insincere apologies for ’ offending’ anyone, and excuse away his behaviour as badly performed humour. No one got raked, I think you saw what you hoped would happen, not what did. ---
